About Sonora

Sonora Guitar Intensive is an online mentorship program for guitarists who want to stop noodling and start sounding like the player in their head. Since 2017, more than 5,000 students have worked one on one with mentors who tour, record and teach at the highest level. Most of our students are adults with careers and families who have been stuck at the same level for years. Our Admissions Counselors are the first real conversation they have with us, and it matters that it goes well.

What you will do

Run 50-minute video consults with adult guitarists who applied and booked a call with us. Every lead is inbound. You will never cold call.
Learn where each player is stuck, what they want to sound like, and whether Sonora can get them there.
Recommend the right program, handle real concerns honestly, and enroll the people we can help. Sometimes the right answer is "not yet," and we want you to say it.
Work your pipeline in Sonora OS: follow-ups, deposits, payment plans, and notes the mentors read before a student’s first lesson.
Review your calls with Spencer and the team every week. We study game film.

Who we are looking for

At least a year of closing high-ticket offers ($2,000 and up) over the phone or video, ideally coaching, education or info products. You know your numbers.
Warmth that comes through on a call. People should feel heard, not handled.
Calm under objections. You find the real concern instead of reciting a rebuttal.
You take coaching well and want to get better every week.
Strongly preferred: you play. Guitarists get a hard look, because you will speak our students’ language from day one.
Reliable internet, a quiet space, a good mic and camera, and a schedule that covers when our prospects are free, including some evenings.

What we offer

Uncapped commission on cash collected, plus weekly performance bonuses. We walk through full compensation and on-target earnings on your first call.
